Bike Building for Kids in Need is our most requested charity-based team building program. Since 1983, our clients have donated more than 15,000 bikes to underserved children, many of whom are high achievers who lack financial resources or come from single-parent households. The program delivers a meaningful blend of teamwork, community impact, and hands-on problem solving.
Each event begins with Strategic Games style Energizers that mix and re-mix participants through fun, fast activities. After the warm-up challenges, teams receive a child’s name and begin building, decorating, and testing a brand-new bike, along with creating a personalized poster card.
The build is challenging, fast moving, and highly collaborative. Participants gain an immediate sense of shared accomplishment, and many executives describe it as one of the most rewarding professional experiences they have had.
Kids ages 5 to 10 may arrive onsite to receive their bikes, or a partner organization can accept them on the children’s behalf. Venture Up manages planning, production, and delivery, ensuring that every bike meets safety standards and that every team’s effort creates a real impact.
