Challenge your team with Technicolor Transport, a hands-on engineering and problem-solving event enjoyed by techies, engineers and everyday executives alike.
Each team receives a kit of colored fluids, an electric pump, flexible tubing, valves, rigid piping, connectors and tools. Their mission: design and build a machine capable of routing any of four fluids to any of twelve target points within the construction zone. All builds must follow Venture Up’s project specifications. Once construction is complete, machine operators must rely solely on the valve system to direct each color correctly—no re-configuring allowed.
This 2- to 4-hour strategic challenge blends brainstorming, product design, coaching, information-sharing and end-user training. It can also be framed around production models such as Lean Principles. Ideal for 25 to 350 participants, teams earn points for every successful color transfer and lose points for leaks, spills, design flaws or operating infractions. Judges tally the scores and announce the winners in this fast-paced, colorful and highly collaborative event.
